Rica and Zoom

Rica for Zoom.

Last updated 27 October 2026.

What it does

Rica is one page for a small business: a shop, bookings, events, subscriptions and an inbox. Connect your Zoom account once, and every confirmed online booking gets its own Zoom meeting in your account, at the booked time, for the booked length, in your time zone.

Your customer gets the join link in their booking confirmation, their reminders and the calendar invite. If you move the booking, the meeting moves with it; if the booking is cancelled, the meeting is removed.

Adding Rica to Zoom

  • Sign in to your Rica admin at myrica.store/admin.
  • Open More, then Integrations. Under Video calls for online bookings, press Connect Zoom.
  • Sign in to Zoom and allow Rica. You come back to Integrations, where Zoom shows as connected with your Zoom email.

Using it

  • In Products, add a product of the kind A booking (or open one you have). Under Where, choose Online, then Zoom.
  • When a customer books it on your page, Rica creates the Zoom meeting and puts its join link in the confirmation email, the reminders, the calendar invite and the booking in your admin.
  • In Bookings, Move a booking and the meeting moves to the new time; Cancel it and the meeting is deleted from your Zoom account.
  • If Zoom stops accepting Rica's access (a password change, or Rica removed in Zoom), Integrations says the connection needs reconnecting, and online bookings use the service's pasted link meanwhile.

Removing Rica

  • In Rica: More, Integrations, then Disconnect under Zoom. Rica stops using your account, asks Zoom to revoke its access, and deletes its tokens.
  • Or in Zoom: in the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage, then Added Apps, and remove Rica. Zoom tells Rica, and Rica disconnects too.
  • Meetings Rica already made stay in your Zoom account.

What Rica can see in Zoom

Rica asks Zoom for four permissions: create a meeting, update a meeting, delete a meeting, and read the connected user (their Zoom ID, name and email, so you can see which account is connected). Rica creates, moves and deletes only the meetings it makes for your bookings. It never reads your other meetings, recordings, chats or contacts.

Rica keeps the access tokens, the connected user's Zoom ID, name and email, and each meeting's ID and join link. They live in Rica's database, encrypted at rest, and travel only over encrypted connections; the tokens are used only by Rica's servers and are deleted when you disconnect. The privacy policy has the rest.
