The deal
Rica gives you a page that sells. You keep your customers, your money (it goes to your own Stripe account; Rica never holds it) and your content. We charge the plan price shown on the pricing page and the metered price of texts, nothing on your sales.
Your side
- You are a real business or creator selling your own things, and you are allowed to sell them where you sell them.
- What you put on your page is yours or you have the right to use it. No stolen photos, no counterfeit goods, nothing illegal.
- You message only people who agreed to hear from you, and you honour STOP at once. Rica enforces STOP for you; you still own the promise.
- You keep your account to yourself and tell us if it is compromised.
Our side
- We keep the service up and your data safe, and we tell you when something goes wrong.
- We never sell your data or your customers' data, and we never use your content for anything but running your shop.
- We can close a shop that breaks these terms or the law, with notice unless the harm is urgent.
Connected services
Stripe, Twilio, Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram) and the other services you connect have their own terms, which you accept when you connect them. Rica is not responsible for their decisions: a provider can refuse a number, a template or an account.
Money and refunds
Plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled any time; the month already paid is not refunded. Text credits are not refunded. Your customers' refunds are between you and them, through your Stripe account.
Limits
Rica is provided as it is. We are not liable for lost sales or profits, and our liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the last twelve months. Nothing here limits what the law will not let us limit.
Law
These terms follow the law of Ontario, Canada. Disputes go to its courts. If a clause is void, the rest stands.
