The metered thing, in one line.
Texts are notifications: booking confirmations and reminders, order updates, check-in codes. A text to Canada or the US is 2.5¢ per 160 characters, charged only when it goes out. Abroad costs more credits by country: the UK and Australia 7, India 11, the UAE and elsewhere 15. Your plan's included texts reset each month; texts you buy never expire. Booking reminders and ticket reminders by text count; confirmations by email do not. Your balance and every text are on one screen.

Where does the money go?
To your own Stripe account, which you connect in two minutes. Stripe pays you on its schedule. Rica takes 0% on paid plans; on Free your buyer pays 2.5% + 30¢.
What are texts for, and what do they cost?
Texts are notifications: booking confirmations and reminders, order updates, check-in codes. 2.5¢ per 160 characters to Canada and the US, with 100 a month included on Rica and 500 on Pro. Email never costs anything.
What does "free email" mean?
Campaigns and the welcome email to your list, at no charge, to 500 contacts on Free and 20,000 on Pro. Every email carries one-click unsubscribe.
Where do conversations happen?
In one inbox: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and the chat on your page. Replies go back the way they came. No credits.
What is Rica AI, and what does it cost?
Coming soon, in every plan, Free included, with no add-on. It is an assistant inside your admin: tell it what you sell, or drop in a photo, a menu PDF or a spreadsheet, and it sets up products, services, subscriptions and events, and your comment-to-DM campaigns on Pro. You check every change before it goes live and can undo it. Credits: Free gets 100 at signup and 10 a month, Rica 300 a month, Pro 1,000; simple requests and templates cost nothing; top-ups are $10 for 400, $30 for 1,200 and $100 for 5,000, and bought credits never expire.
Can I take my data?
Customers, orders and guests export as CSV any time. Cancel any time; the page stays up until the end of the period you paid for.
Is there a founding offer?
No. The price is the price, for everyone, from the first day. The one exception: sign up with someone’s referral code and your first month on Rica or Pro is 20% off.
